The Penthouse Suite occupies the entire seventh floor of the St. James’s and is accessible by private lift, offering total privacy, security, and unrivalled luxury. It boasts two large bedrooms, two sitting rooms – one with a dining area – and two marble bathrooms complete with televisions, separate walk-in showers, Penhaligon’s toiletries.

The Penthouse is beautifully decorated with figured silk wall coverings, bespoke black lacquered furniture, Murano glass chandeliers and original art. As everywhere within the St. James’s, there is complimentary WiFi, with the addition of DVD players, flat screen televisions and iPod docking stations. The defining feature of the Penthouse, though, must be the private roof terrace offering 50m² of outside space with panoramic views of the London skyline. The private roof terrace – a rarity in London hotels – is the perfect space for entertaining friends or relaxing with a glass of champagne at the end of the day. The Penthouse can also be booked as two separate suites.
